Come and join us at the Wonthaggi Clay Target Club for our regular "Come & Try" sessions, where you can experience the thrill of clay target shooting firsthand. Our friendly and experienced club members will guide you through every step, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience for all.

Clay target shooting is an exciting and inclusive sport that’s perfect for individuals and families. Whether you're young or old, male or female, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

No firearms licence is necessary to join in, but participants must be over 12 years old and maintain a zero blood alcohol level. Please note that individuals declared prohibited under Section 6 of the Firearms Act 1996 cannot participate. Failing to disclose this information may lead to prosecution.

Clay target shooting is an accessible sport with minimal physical limitations. It's fun, challenging, and addictive. Attend just one session, and you’ll quickly see what you’ve been missing!

Unfortunately, we cannot change the date of your booking. However, you may request a refund and select a new date, which will incur a rebooking fee. Please provide ample notice so we can fill the spot.

No refunds will be processed within 72 hours of the event start time
(the prior Monday at 11 am).

Gift vouchers are available for purchase online and can be redeemed for any available session. These make great gifts for family and friends, suitable for both adults and juniors (ages 12-17).

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Your experience will be led by our experienced members and includes all necessary equipment, ammunition, targets, and safety gear. More details about our sessions are provided below.

Bookings are essential, click 'Contact us' to make a booking enquiry.  Refreshments are available at the canteen. A mandatory safety briefing will take place at the beginning of each session, and participants must provide photo ID and sign the visitor's book for insurance purposes.

The shooting activity lasts for 1 to 1.5 hours. Please wear closed-toe shoes, and avoid camouflage clothing or singlets. All equipment is provided, and our experienced supervisors will be there to assist you. We uphold a strict zero-alcohol policy.

Participants may shoot up to 25 rounds, depending on circumstances. No firearms licence is required for our Come & Try days.
